Q. How do I get my certificate?
A. When checking out, certificates will be emailed automatically to the email address you entered. If you don't recieve it right away, please check your spam folder. If an alternate option is offered (Mail, Pick Up or Email for Promo Codes/Digital Tickets) , we will provide instructions on the email generated after purchase.

 

Q. When can I redeem my certificate?

A. Each certificate can be redeemed after purchase. Certificates will have an expiration date for the promotional value that is 2 years after the date of purchase. The paid value will not expire. We are not responsible for your attempt to use expired certificates.

 

Q. Can I give the certificate as a gift?

A. If you know you are giving the certificate as a gift, you can address it to that lucky person or send it to their email directly. The billing information is separate. If you are unsure, you can have your name as the recipient and still give it away. 

 

Q. Do I have to buy it now?

A. You should buy any wanted deals quickly. There are limited quantities available and there may not be more available for purchase at a later date. Our website will display Sold-Out offers.

 

Q. What if I take my certificate to the business and they will not honor it?
A. That should not happen as long as your certificate has not already been redeemed. However, if it does please let us know as soon as possible by emailing savemoresd@localmediasd.com.   A local deal representative will personally handle your issue directly with the advertiser and we will find a solution for you.

 

Q. Is gratuity included?

A. Gratuity is NOT included. Please remember, this is our "support local" program and businesses are hoping to gain new customers by offering discounts. Please show your gratitude and tip off the total amount before the discount was applied. This will help us get you better and bigger deals in the future.

 

Q. Are there redemption requirements?

A. Service providers are expecting a certificate(s) to be used/redeemed in full, in a single visit. Number of certificates accepted per transaction is determined by the participating business. Not valid with any other coupons, promotions, or discounts. Certificate is non-refundable and not redeemable for cash or credit. Promotional value expires two (2) years after purchase date. Paid value does not expire. Additional merchant restrictions may apply.

 

RECEIPT: Your emailed receipt will arrive from Savemoresd@localmediasd.com. Please check your spam mailbox if you cannot locate it. Better yet, add the email above, into your address book or contacts so you can find your current and future receipts promptly. Contact us HERE

 

CREDIT or BANK STATEMENTS: You will see Local Media San Diego, LLC listed as the parent company of savemoresandiego.com


WEEKEND PURCHASES: If certificates have the option to be sent via US Mail or picked up at the Local Media SD offices, all certificates purchased Friday (After 4:30pm) through Sunday (or Holidays), may be sent (or will be processed) on the following Monday or non-holiday weekday.


MAILING VIA USPS: If sending by US Mail, our office will process orders by noon the following business day with an additional $12 for Priority Mail. Please allow customary USPS mailing time. to be processed on weekdays only.

 

OFFICE PICK UP: If certificates have the option to be picked up in person at the offices, all certificates purchased Friday (After 4:30pm) through Sunday (or Holidays), will be processed on the following Monday or non-holiday weekday. WEBSITE PURCHASING:  Unique identifier codes are created for each certificate. Please do not deface these required confirmation codes on your certificates. Once QR Code is redeemed they will no longer be valid, so please only scan and redeem when you’re ready to use the certificate.   

 

PATIENCE PLEASE:  Internet, WiFi, Banking Systems, Computers & Mobile devices process by varying methods and time frames. Please allow at least 30 minutes if you are waiting for your receipt to appear. Holidays can also add extended processing time.
